A front was moving in, and it threatened to be a very cold and wet night.

We were directed north, up the intercostal, and staged in line to made ready for the parade.

Altogether there were 47 entries as "Parade Boats" for the parade, what a sight!

As we pass through the bridge at Albey road, the crowds let out a huge cheer .

We traveled down to, and around Snake Island and then entered the bay by the North Jetty.

An estimated 60,000 to 80,000 people cheered and waved lights all along both sides of the route.
